Photos of Oxford Street this weekend will put you off Christmas shopping
All your gifts bought, wrapped and stacked in the cupboard waiting to go under the tree on Christmas morning?
Hahaha, no.
Well, not if you’re anything like us, and are mentally preparing for the present buying rush with barely a week to go until December 25.
Join us in a quick tour of what the disorganised have to look forward to when we strike out into crowds this weekend, armed only with a debit card, list of names and willingness to fight dirty for the last Hatchimal.
If you go to Oxford Street, please be warned it’s the section of hell Milton didn’t describe – but that he definitely would have if it had been around in the 1600s.
Please, we would like to opt out of Christmas this year
Maybe it’s not too late for online shopping
We regret everything
It’s the most stressful wonderful time of the year
If you’re heading out to Oxford Street – or any other Christmas shopping centre – tomorrow, all we can say is make sure to have a decent breakfast beforehand, maybe porridge with slow release energy.
You will need all the strength you can muster.
Good luck, and may the presents be ever in your price range.
