Horrifying Moment Girl, 16, Plunges To Her Death During Zip-line Exercise As Her Instructor Father Watches

A 16-year-old girl plunged to her death from the top of a six-storey building during a zip-line exercise at her college as her instructor father watched on.
Aditi Sanghi, 16, was sitting on the edge of a building at the International College for Girls (ICG) in Jaipur, India when the sad incident happened. She had just finished her round and walked back to the terrace to help other pupils fasten their harnesses. In the process, she craned her neck to watch another student coming down the zip line and that was when she lost her balance and fell.
A phone camera captured the moment she fell 75ft from the top of the building as students below screamed in horror. Her father Sunil Sanghi, who was conducting the activity, was one of those who looked on in horror as Aditi fell.
She suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to the nearby Metro Mas hospital where she later died while receiving treatment. Fellow student Muksan Agrawal said Aditi was a talented mountaineering professional who had also trained her. She had trained under her father and would accompany him during practice sessions.
Muksan said: "A few students said if the training programme had followed better safety measures, and used a net, the tragedy could have been avoided."
